Full-Time Protection Where People Work Under Racking

If people work in your pallet racking aisles or pick towers, it’s only a matter of time before something comes off a beam. Forklifts clip uprights, pallets fail, cartons get pushed through the back of a bay — and anything that falls lands on the aisle below. Rack netting is the full-time barrier that keeps stored product on the rack and off your people. Panels are load-rated, tested specifically for industrial racking, and made to the exact size of each bay so there are no gaps for product to slip through.

A Complete Rack Guard System

Every system is built from load-rated netting, custom brackets and rigging hardware — specified to the exact racking it protects.

Netting

Load-Rated Panels

Impact-rated netting panels made to size for the back and ends of each bay — designed and tested specifically for industrial racking, so falling cartons and pallets are stopped, not slowed.

Brackets

Custom Offset Brackets

Offset brackets from flushmount out to 12″ hold the net clear of stored product and uprights, so the panel takes the impact instead of the load behind it. Sized to your rack depth.

Height

Frame Extensions

Where protection is needed above the top beam, frame extensions carry the netting higher than the rack itself — full-height coverage on tall racking and pick towers.

Hardware

Cable & Rigging

Aircraft cable and industrial rigging hardware anchor the system to the rack structure — a tensioned, engineered assembly built to hold up under a real impact, not just look the part.

Overhead

Horizontal Netting

For crews that enter racking bays to pick or work, horizontal netting guards against product falling from an upper level — also used for tunnel runs and walkways passing through racking.

Discuss Your Racking

What Goes Into a System

Netting is quoted to your rack drawings or a site measure — the components below make up a typical back-of-rack guard.

Netting Panels

  • Load-rated, impact-tested netting
  • Made to measure for each bay — no gaps
  • Vertical back-of-rack and rack-end coverage
  • Horizontal panels for overhead protection
  • Designed and tested for industrial racking

Brackets & Hardware

  • Custom offset brackets, flushmount to 12″
  • Frame extensions for above-rack protection
  • Aircraft cable and rigging hardware
  • Anchored to the existing rack structure
  • Tensioned assembly, not a loose curtain

Typical Applications

  • Pallet racking backing onto aisles or walkways
  • Pick towers and multi-level pick modules
  • Rack ends facing traffic or work areas
  • Bays crews enter to access product
  • Tunnels and pass-throughs within racking

Why Made-to-Measure Netting Matters

A net is only protection if there’s nowhere for product to get past it — that’s the difference between an engineered rack guard and a generic panel.

Catches What Falls

Forklift strikes, broken pallets and product pushed through the back of a bay all end the same way — the net stops it before it reaches the aisle, the walkway or the person below.

Sized to Your Racking

Panels are cut to each bay so there are no open corners or short gaps. Made-to-measure is the safest option for back-of-rack protection — and it looks like it belongs on the rack.

Engineered for Impact

Load-rated netting, brackets and cable are designed and tested specifically for industrial racking loads — not repurposed sports or cargo net that won’t hold a falling pallet.

Custom-fabricated in Canada
Netting panels and hardware are made to your rack layout and installed by our crews — sold, coordinated and supported locally by Indoff Canada across Toronto, the GTA and Ontario.

How Ordering Works

From a problem aisle to protected racking — we handle the measure, the spec and the install.

Show Us the Rack

Send rack drawings or a few photos of the bays and the aisle, walkway or work area you need to guard.

We Spec & Measure

Panels, offset brackets, any frame extensions and the anchoring are matched to your racking — with a quote for the exact system.

Fabricated to Size

Netting panels are made to measure for each bay so the finished guard fits with no gaps to work around.

Installed

Our crews mount the brackets, hang and tension the netting and rig it to the rack — the aisle is protected when we leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does rack netting actually protect against?

It stops stored product from falling out of racking into the space where people work — whether it’s knocked loose by a forklift, a broken pallet, or a carton pushed through the back of a bay. The netting keeps that product on the rack and off the aisle, walkway or workstation below.

Do the panels come in standard sizes?

No — the panels are made to measure for your racking. Each bay is different, so netting cut to size is what eliminates the gaps at the corners and ends where product would otherwise slip through. That made-to-measure fit is the safest option for back-of-rack protection.

What are the offset brackets for?

Offset brackets hold the netting away from the stored product — anywhere from flushmount out to 12″ — so the net has room to absorb an impact instead of being pinned against the load. The offset is specified to your rack depth.

Can you protect above the top of the rack?

Yes. Where product can go higher than the top beam, frame extensions carry the netting above the rack itself for full-height coverage — common on tall racking and pick towers.

What’s horizontal rack netting?

Horizontal netting runs overhead to protect crews who enter racking bays to access product and could have something fall on them from a level above. It’s also used for tunnel and pass-through applications where a walkway runs through the racking.

Do you install, or just supply the netting?

Both. We measure, engineer and supply the system, and our crews install it — anchoring the brackets, hanging and tensioning the netting and rigging it to your rack structure. If you also need the racking checked, ask us about rack inspection and repairs.
