What capacity lift table do I need?
Size for your heaviest realistic load — pallet plus product plus anything that rides along — with headroom for off-centre loading. Standard tables run 2,000 to 6,000 lb, and super-duty models go well beyond. We’ll confirm the right rating from your load details.
Do I need a pit, or can the table sit on the floor?
Most tables sit on the floor with a lowered height around 9 inches. If you need pallet trucks to roll loads on, choose a low-profile or floor-height design — or pit-mount a standard table with beveled edges so the platform finishes flush with the floor.
Electric-hydraulic or air-powered?
Electric-hydraulic (115V single-phase standard) suits most applications. Air-powered tables make sense where compressed air is everywhere and electrical drops aren’t practical, or where washdown and hazardous-location rules complicate electric power.
What options help most for pallet loading?
A rotating top (manual or powered) is the big one — the operator spins the pallet instead of walking around it. For repetitive pallet building, a self-levelling pallet positioner does both jobs automatically: it keeps the top layer at hand height and rotates for near-side loading. Ball-transfer and conveyor tops help move product on and off, and bellows skirting keeps hands and debris out of the mechanism.
