Walls That Move at the Speed of Your Business

Every plant eventually needs to enclose or separate a process — welding fumes drifting into assembly, dust settling on packaged product, noise from one cell wearing on the whole floor, or heated space bleeding into shipping. Traditional rigid wall construction runs $8–$35 per square foot, takes weeks and is nearly impossible to move. A SoftWall system does the same containment job with industrial fabric panels: quick to install, easy to reconfigure when your layout changes, and typically a fraction of the price. We design each system around your building and process, supply it and install it.

Partitions, Enclosures & Curtain Walls

Stationary or retractable, floor-to-ceiling or framed booth — each system is purpose-built for the problem it has to contain.

Divide

SoftWall Partitions

Fabric walls that divide a facility — separate shipping from manufacturing, isolate product categories, create ISO quarantine or clean areas. Tie in to existing walls and structure.

Contain

Stationary Enclosures

Framed booths around welding, grinding, blasting, painting and inspection. Add lights, windows, front curtain panels and dust-collection tie-ins as the process demands.

Retract

Retractable Enclosures

Scissor-frame booths that collapse to a quarter of their size — load oversized pieces by overhead crane, close the enclosure, run the process, then fold it away.

Temperature

Insulated Curtain Walls

Temperature-control curtains and insulated fabric walls that hold heated or cooled zones where you need them — and cut the energy bill for conditioning space you don’t.

Clean

Cleanrooms & Food-Grade

Softwall cleanrooms and environmental rooms for food, pharma and electronics — wash-down-friendly fabrics that prevent cross-contamination and inventory spoilage.

Not sure which system fits?

Describe the problem — dust, noise, fumes, temperature, overspray or cross-contamination — and we’ll spec the right wall for it.

Discuss Your Application

Fabrics, Frames & Options

Industrial-grade materials matched to your application — including flame-retardant fabrics that meet Class 1 ASTM E 84 and NFPA-701 specifications.

Fabrics

  • Vinyl Coated Polyester (VCP) — NFPA-701, CAN/ULC-S109, Class 1 ASTM E 84
  • 14 mil clear PVC windows & panels
  • Woven polyethylene — high tear strength, light weight
  • Specialty high-temperature fabrics
  • Flame, chemical & mildew resistant

Construction

  • 1½″ / 2″ square galvalum steel tube frames
  • Modular panels — easy thru-bolt field assembly
  • Velcro or fixed mechanical fastening
  • Ties in to existing walls & upper structure
  • No painting or maintenance required

Options

  • Clear PVC vision windows & lighting
  • Strip-curtain & retractable curtain doorways
  • Retractable roof panels for crane access
  • Bi-folding doors for oversized loads
  • Dust collection & filter-module integration

Why Fabric Beats Rigid Walls

Before you price drywall, concrete block or metal cladding, compare what a SoftWall system does for the same containment job.

Cost

Rigid construction runs $8–$35 per square foot before you’ve moved a single wall. SoftWall systems typically cost a fraction of that — and future changes stay cheap too.

Flexibility

Panels dismantle, relocate and reconfigure as your layout evolves. When production moves, the walls move with it instead of being demolished.

Installation

Installed quickly with little or often no production downtime — no dust, debris or trades disrupting the floor for weeks.

Custom-manufactured in Canada — over a century of engineered fabric
Every system is custom-designed and manufactured in Canada by specialist fabric-wall fabricators — sold, coordinated and supported locally by Indoff Canada.

How It Works

From a problem on the floor to an installed wall — without interrupting production.

Survey

We capture dimensions, the process being contained and site conditions — photos of the area help us move fast.

Design

Preliminary concepts and drawings are developed for your approval — fabric, frame, doors and options matched to the application.

Manufacture

Your system is custom-fabricated — typically 2–5 weeks depending on complexity, with stock items shipping in days.

Install

Quick assembly with minimal disruption — most systems go up in days, not the weeks a rigid wall demands.

Frequently Asked Questions

What problems does a SoftWall partition or enclosure solve?

In-plant environmental problems: dust and particulate containment, welding and process fumes, noise, overspray, odour, temperature and humidity control, and cross-contamination between product categories or processes. If it drifts, spreads or leaks from one area to another, a fabric wall can contain it.

Are the fabrics flame retardant?

Yes. Systems can be specified to meet Class 1 ASTM E 84 or NFPA-701 flammability specifications (and CAN/ULC-S109 in Canada) by matching the right fabric to your application. Note that flame-retardant is not fireproof — we’ll match the material to your code requirement.

Partition, stationary enclosure or retractable — which do I need?

Partitions divide open space, floor to ceiling. Stationary enclosures are framed booths built around a fixed process like welding or painting. Retractable enclosures collapse to about a quarter of their size — the right answer when floor space is tight or overhead cranes need unobstructed access. Most projects are settled with a short survey of the area.

How much does it cost compared to a real wall?

Traditional rigid wall construction typically runs $8–$35 per square foot. A SoftWall system usually comes in at a fraction of that, installs faster, and costs far less to modify later. We’ll quote your exact configuration — send dimensions or a floor plan.

What’s the lead time?

Stock items ship in about 2 days. A standard curtain runs roughly two weeks after drawing approval. Complex custom enclosures take 3–5 weeks of manufacturing after drawings are approved. Installation itself is quick — typically days.

Can an enclosure work with our overhead crane?

Yes. Retractable roof panels let crane cables pass overhead, and fully retractable scissor-frame enclosures collapse out of the way so large pieces can be craned in, then enclosed for processing.
