Professional Rack Inspection & Repair Across Southern Ontario

Your racking holds thousands of pounds every day, and forklift impacts, overloading and ordinary wear quietly chip away at its capacity — often in ways you can’t see during a normal shift. Regular inspection catches structural damage and code violations before they cause an accident, and professional repair restores a damaged system to its full rated capacity. We help warehouses, distribution centres and industrial facilities throughout the GTA stay safe, compliant and running.

What a Rack Inspection Covers

A thorough, documented evaluation of every load-bearing component — with photos, measurements and an actionable report.

Structure

Damage Detection

We identify bent uprights, damaged beams, missing bolts and compromised bracing that quietly reduce your system’s load capacity.

Loading

Load Capacity Verification

We confirm that actual loads match rated capacities and flag overloading and uneven weight distribution that stress the frame.

Compliance

Code Assessment

We check your installation against CSA, Ontario building codes and workplace safety requirements so you’re audit-ready.

Protection

Safety Systems

We assess column protectors, guardrails, safety netting and anchors for proper installation and effectiveness.

Records

Detailed Reporting

You get a documented report with photos and severity ratings — critical evidence for insurance, audits and liability protection.

Had a forklift hit?

We prioritize post-impact assessments to determine whether damage needs repair or component replacement.

Why Professional Inspection & Repair Matters

Even minor impacts can sharply cut load capacity. DIY repairs without the right training, tools and parts often make things worse — and can void warranties and insurance coverage.

Restores rated capacity

We assess damage thoroughly and repair to restore structural integrity and the system’s original load rating — not a guess.

Keeps you compliant

Inspections and repairs meet CSA, Ontario codes and manufacturer specs, with documentation that stands up to an audit.

Protects your coverage

Manufacturer-approved parts and detailed records keep warranties intact and give insurers the evidence they require.

Emergency & post-impact response
A compromised upright can affect an entire frame. We prioritize damage assessments after collisions so weakened racking is made safe before it fails.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should pallet racking be inspected?

A documented inspection at least annually is the widely accepted standard, plus an immediate assessment any time racking is struck by a forklift or otherwise damaged. High-traffic facilities often benefit from more frequent checks.

Can a damaged upright just be straightened?

Generally no. Engineering standards call for replacement once damage exceeds set tolerances, because straightening can’t reliably restore a column’s original capacity. We replace damaged uprights with manufacturer-approved components.

Do you repair racking you didn’t install?

Yes. We inspect and repair most major pallet racking brands and configurations, matching replacement components to your existing system’s specifications.

What areas do you serve?

The Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario, including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington and Vaughan, with multi-site programs available across the region.

Will I get documentation for insurance and audits?

Yes. Every inspection and repair comes with detailed records and photos, plus updated load-capacity rating plates where applicable — the documentation insurers and regulators look for.
