The industrial belts through Etobicoke, North York and Scarborough are full of buildings put up between the 1960s and the 1980s — lower clear heights, tight column grids, sprinkler mains that sit exactly where you wanted a beam level, and loading courts that were designed before 53-foot trailers were standard.
